Objectives:
As a result of participating in this online enduring activity, I am better able to:

  1. Promote the sharing of a patient provider agreement with all patients prior to initiating a trial of opioids for chronic non-cancer pain
  2. Promote using a multi-dimensional rating scale to assess chronic pain, quality of life, and progress toward functional goals..
  3. Screen for appropriate opioid use and the continued need for opioid therapy, including effective review of prescription drug monitoring report requests (i.e., SCRIPTS Reports).
  4. Run SCRIPTS Reports with more confidence.
