Objectives:
As a result of participating in this online enduring activity, I am better able to:
- Promote the sharing of a patient provider agreement with all patients prior to initiating a trial of opioids for chronic non-cancer pain
- Promote using a multi-dimensional rating scale to assess chronic pain, quality of life, and progress toward functional goals..
- Screen for appropriate opioid use and the continued need for opioid therapy, including effective review of prescription drug monitoring report requests (i.e., SCRIPTS Reports).
- Run SCRIPTS Reports with more confidence.
