The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Drug Information Center (DIC) has provided its services to health care practitioners (HCPs) for more than 30 years. The DIC is a technologically advanced information center that provides accurate, comprehensive and unbiased drug information to HCPs within the MUSC health-system and the MUSC College of Pharmacy (COP), as well as to both local and national practitioners. The DIC answers questions utilizing a wide array of in-house drug information references and the library resources of MUSC. The DIC is staffed by drug information-trained specialists, including one MUSC COP faculty member, two MUSC clinical pharmacy specialists and one MUSC clinical pharmacy coordinator.

Please be aware that the DIC is not an on-call service, as they conduct a thorough and complete search of all available resources to provide the best possible answer to your question; however, they do have the capability to reply to questions in an expedited fashion when necessary.
